2024 -25 School Year Boys & Girls Clubs

Dear Families,

Club membership annual registration and the weekly fee registration are both done online via our Parent Portal in our My Club Hub software. If you are not currently an active Boys & Girls Club member, you must first create an account. If you are a current member, you then register and pay prior to each week you are attending.  Our 2024-2025 academic year started August 20, 2024 and will end June 6 or 7, 2025. School Year programs run from 7am until 6pm Monday - Friday at our six pre-teen locations. Teen Center (serving ages 12-18) is also open. Snacks are included. Clubs operate on a first come, first serve. Wait lists are created once capacity is met.

Become a Member (applications & handbook below)

How? Fill out our online application, based on the Club location and the season (School OR Summer). Your child must be at least age 5 and attending a public school. Ages 12 to 18 can join the Teen Center in Harrisonburg and may attend Elkton Club.

Please contact the appropriate Club with questions. You pay a $15 annual membership fee and provide some required documents. Weekly program fees are reasonable.

 Our Programs

What do we do at Clubs? In partnership with schools, parents, and community organizations, BGCHR implements proven Boys & Girls Club national programming focused on social and academic development. Programs include SMART Moves, Project Learn, Triple Play.  Program details can be found here.

2024 Summer Camps!

2024 Summer Camps have been going great! We end our summer with a field day on August 8th to celebrate our accomplishments and friendships.

2025 Summer Camps start the week of June 21, 2025. The Teen Center (serving ages 12-18) is also open this summer. Hours will vary based on demand and interest.

Try Something New

At Boys & Girls Club of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County, we focus on three areas of development: academic success, healthy lifestyles, and character building/citizenship. Youth who attend are Clubs are able to participate in many activities such as gardening, hiking and swimming while also receiving academic support.

All staff undergo extensive background checks and are trained to provide excellent supervision and support to our Members. Safety is our #1 goal...and Fun is #1A. Our staff comes to us from a variety of backgrounds and experiences and understand they are there to be role models and mentors to our youth.
